DESCRIPTION:Letter to the Editor Workshop\n \n Wednesday\, Sep tember 23\, 12:00 - 1:00 PM.\n \n \n \n On Zoom\n \n \n \n Join us for a hands-on Letter to the Edit or (LTE) Workshop with FAN staff on September 23\, 2026 (12-1 PM) over Zoom. As we look for ways to engage our communities in free and democratic elec tions\, writing an LTE is a great way to share a m essage with a wider audience and counter misinform ation. LTEs are short (150–250 word limit)\, targe ted messages that use our personal voices to draw attention to issues affecting our communities. Dur ing the workshop\, we’ll review best practices for writing and submitting impactful LTEs to our loca l newspapers. We’ll also share ideas for messaging in support of free & democratic elections\, the M illionaire’s Tax\, and No Hate in Washington State \, as well as have individual time to write our ow n LTE.
