 ter to the Editor (LTE) Workshop with FAN staff on
  September 23\, 2026 (12-1 PM) over Zoom. As we lo
 ok for ways to engage our communities in free and 
 democratic elections\, writing an LTE is a great w
 ay to share a message with a wider audience and co
 unter misinformation. LTEs are short (150–250 word
  limit)\, targeted messages that use our personal 
 voices to draw attention to issues affecting our c
 ommunities. During the workshop\, we’ll review bes
 t practices for writing and submitting impactful L
 TEs to our local newspapers. We’ll also share idea
 s for messaging in support of free & democratic el
 ections\, the Millionaire’s Tax\, and No Hate in W
 ashington State\, as well as have individual time 
 to write our own LTE. Join us as we practice a new
  advocacy skill and get our messages out together
