The Immigrant Resident Documentary Screening and Discussion, March 27, 5:30-7:30pm at 601 E. Riverside Ave.
Join Faith Action Network and Latinos en Spokane for a screening of Latinos en Spokane's documentary The Immigration Resident, detailing the stories and contributions of Latino immigrants and community members in the Spokane area. The event will include light refreshments and a guided discussion following the film. The event will be held at the EWU Spokane Catalyst Building Room #301 (601 E Riverside Avenue, Spokane WA 99201).
Parking & Directions: The Catalyst Building is located off of Sprague Ave and Sherman St. There is free street parking on Sprague and the surrounding streets, as well as a paid parking lot directly in front of the building. When you arrive go through the front door and take the elevator to your right to the third floor. When you exit the elevator proceed straight and the first room on the left is Room 301.
About the film: On The Horizon Films captures the realities Latinos live through to overcome the unjust immigration system, a global pandemic, the Trump era, and systemic community barriers to justice. The Immigration Resident commemorates Latino immigrant history, their labor and contribution to our state, and the collective struggle faced by community organizations.
