Indigenous communities have long grappled with the trauma of missing loved ones--victims of violence, murder, human trafficking and abuse. Long in coming, too, has been an adequate and appropriate response from local, state, and federal officials and from the greater community, until recent bills and steps. Join us to learn about the ongoing Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Persons (MMIWP) issues in Washington, the efforts of our communities and agencies to try to address them, and ways in which you can support the healing.
