LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT LEADS INFO SESSION & TRAINING

On Zoom

Wednesday, January 7, 2025 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM

Are you interested in helping support the grassroots organizing and people power behind Interfaith Advocacy Day (IFAD)? Being a Legislative District (LD) Lead might be for you!

Every year at IFAD, we are able to connect constituents directly with their lawmaker's office to share their concerns and advocate directly with their legislators and their staff. These appointments are made possible by the hard work of staff and volunteer LD Leads leading up to IFAD. Legislative District Leads are volunteers who schedule appointments for themselves and other advocates in your state legislative district for the day of IFAD, February 12. LD Leads can also help lead caucus time with your legislative district on the day of IFAD.

This session will share more information and answer your questions about being LD Lead, walk you through how to request an appointment with your legislators' offices, and what to do if you are having a hard time getting a hold of your office. If you are on the fence on whether to volunteer, please join us and learn more. We are happy to provide extra support.

Once you register, a Zoom link will be sent to your email.
