Learn about the latest legislation and how you can engage and advocate for change with your representatives. Lunch will be provided!

We will get information on two WA initiatives for 2018: the Deadly Force Initiative and the Carbon Tax Initiative (Alliance for Jobs and clean Energy Coalition). Hear about Eastern Washington issues from local social justice and advocacy groups- poverty, homelessness, food insecurity. We will also cover national issues- refugees, sanctuary, immigration and DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals).

Also supported by Simpson United Methodist, Sacred Heart, Trinity Lutheran, and St. James Episcopal churches.  This workshop is free and open to the public. RSVP is appreciated but not required.
