Potluck at the Polls with Faith Action Network

Join us in community as we celebrate and participate in our shared democracy, learn together, and build community in our faith & spirituality-based movement for compassion, justice, and sustainability. We will have food and drink available beginning at 5 pm, we hope you join us for a short social before we begin our programming with a conversation and Q&A on elections and voting with Spokane County Auditor, Vicky Dalton.
To end our evening we will take a short 10-15 minute walk together to a ballot box and cast our votes, weather permitting. Bring your filled out ballot to cast! You are welcome to bring your own non-partisan sign to carry on the walk, we will have some sign making supplies available day of as well.
What and who should I bring?
- FAN will provide pizza, if you’re able please bring a side or dessert to share.
- Feel free to bring your kids! We won't have childcare but our space is large enough children can play with parental supervision and we will have some kid friendly activities. When you rsvp, just note how many kids you'll be bringing so we can plan accordingly.
- Wear weather appropriate clothing for a short walk to the ballot box, in late October it may be chilly.
- Bring your filled out ballot if you've recieved yours. We won't have designated time to fill out your ballot, so we reccomend bringing it pre-filled out and sealed. Don't worry if you haven't recieved yours by the event, just bring your plan to vote.
- Bring a friend and bring your questions! We can all learn about the importance of voting and the security of our electoral process here in Spokane.
- Optional: Bring a sign to walk to the box with.
