Washington Organization Sign-On Letter: Protect Child Nutrition Priorities in Build Back Better budget
Congress has a generation-changing opportunity to disrupt child hunger and poverty with critical investments that can move the needle on healthy school meals for all. The revised provisions in the budget reconciliation package must be maintained at current levels. These provisions will: help more high-need schools provide free meals to all students; close summer hunger gaps by providing grocery assistance to families that are eligible for free or reduced-price school meals; and, provide school kitchen equipment grants and meal quality improvements for lifelong, healthier habits. These proven anti-hunger strategies go hand in hand with anti-poverty investments, especially the expanded Child Tax Credit, to lift millions of children out of hunger and poverty.

This is an organizational sign-on letter to urge Washington's Congressional delegation to protect these provisions. If you are authorized to sign on behalf of your organization, please review the full letter here: https://tinyurl.com/pvvm7sdn - then complete the information below.
DEADLINE to sign-on is 5:00 pm (PT) FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22
