FAITH ACTION NETWORK’s Interfaith Advocacy Day brings the voices of compassion and justice to our elected leaders. Meeting with your legislators and their staff on this day is putting your faith into action!
On Interfaith Advocacy Day, you will be able to:
- Join workshops that will break down the issues on FAN's 2023 Legislative Agenda.
- Learn how to most effectively advocate in today’s legislature.
- Meet with advocates from your legislative district to prepare for your legislative visits.
- Meet with your legislator! Once you register, FAN will set up an appointment for you and others from your district.
- Lunch will be provided.
Don’t miss this important day in Olympia! As of this year, we are limited to 250 participants due to regulations at The United Churches of Olympia. We encourage you to sign up early so that we can guarantee you a spot.
| REGISTRATION: Due to the generosity of our sponsors, there is no cost this year to participate in FAN's Interfaith Advocacy Day. After you register, you will receive more information via e-mail as February 9 approaches, including details on the agenda, workshop topics, times of your legislative appointments, and a link to join some of the sessions virtually, should you prefer to participate in that way. Aa close as we are now to February 9, we cannot guarantee that a legislative appointment will be available, but you would be welcome to join another district if yours has not been scheduled.. CHECK-IN: Doors open at 8:00 AM, and the program begins at 9:00 AM. We'll end by 3:00 PM after a debrief session. |

| LODGING: Coming from far away?
FAN is partnering with Gwinwood Camp and Conference Center to make attending IFAD easier for those of you who live far away. Gwinwood is located on Hicks Lake in Lacey, approximately 20 minutes away from the capitol. They are offering single rooms with a shared bathroom down the hall for $35 per person per night. If you're interested in staying the night at Gwinwood the night on February 8, please contact fan@fanwa.org. |

For those who can't make it to Olympia, there is another legislative conference in Spokane on January 21.
We also hope be live-streaming some of our sessions in Olympia. If we are able to do this, we will send a link for joining these, to everyone who registers.
