A Celebration of our Work Together
at our 2025 FAN Annual Dinner

Donate to Help Us Reach our Goal!

We had a wonderful time at our annual dinner together. Thank you, Rev. Linda Smith, Tulalip elder who offered our welcome to our evening and thank you to Bishop Shelley Wee for her moving tribute to Rev. Carol Jensen.

Huge thank you to the Tacoma Refugee Choir for sharing your gifts of song and presence with us. FAN continues to stay committed to our refugee and other immigrant communities through organizing with coalition partners and policy advocacy.

Thank you also to the elected officials who joined us, Rep. Chris Stearns, Rep. Brandy Donaghy, Rep. Osman Salahuddin, Sen. Claire Wilson, Rep. Jamila Taylor and Rep. My-Linh Thai and especially to our keynote speaker Rep. Pramila Jayapal.  FAN stands alongside you and your work to make sure policies and laws help all people in Washington state thrive.

Our Eastern Washington Regional Coordinator, Brianna Dilts reported that Spokane also had a great showing. Seventy-six FAN advocates from different denominations, faith traditions, and organizations gathered to connect, celebrate, and sustain FAN. We were grounded in prayer by Diana from Congregation Emanu-El and heard from Ven. Semkye from Sravasti Abbey, a monastic Buddhist community north of Spokane on why they support FAN and what it means to them.

In Central Washington, staff Jess Ingman in East Wenatchee shared, "FAN Advocates and friends gathered for a NCW watch party and potluck at Cascade Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. They enjoyed having time to celebrate our statewide work and make local connections with the Interfaith Justice Coalition."

Thanks again joining us at our new dinner location at the SeaTac Hilton Conference Center. Our previous location, the Renton Pavilion Center is now under construction to become the Renton Market. Since we were already at the max occupancy in Renton, we took the opportunity to find a place where we can grow the FAN dinner in the years to come. Thank you also to those who joined online.

We are grateful for your continued support. We have almost reached our goal of raising $250,000. If you were not able to join us but would like to support the work of FAN and help us meet our fundraising goal you can do so by clicking this link.

Jewish Identity and Anti-Jewish Harm Learning
for Faith Leaders

The Jewish Community Relations Council is offering a free, four-hour learning opportunity exclusively for faith leaders (clergy, senior staff, and Board members) on Jewish identity and anti-Jewish harm (how it it operates, tools to identify and address it, and why it matters) from nationally recognized leaders at Project Shema on Friday, December 5, from 10am-2pm in Seattle (location sent upon registration). Lunch and snacks will be provided. There are a limited number of slots available. Please RSVP via this Google Form by December 1st to reserve your spot and commit to attending, or reach out to Rabbi Jason Levine with any questions. In a time when so many marginalized groups are experiencing violence, discrimination, and isolation, one of the best antidotes is coming together for learning, connection, hearing the stories of other communities, and supporting each other in mutual understanding.
