Join us on January 19, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, to celebrate the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Inspired by Dr. King's life's work towards civil rights and belonging for all people, let us join together as diverse people of faith to rally, march, and continue working toward his vision of the beloved community.
For those who can join, Salem Lutheran Church is hosting a potluck breakfast at 8 am before the rally at their church, 1428 W Broadway Ave. From there, we will carpool, bus, or walk to the Unity Rally and march at the Spokane Convention Center, 334 W Spokane Falls Blvd.
If you can't make it to the breakfast, join us at the rally and look out for the Faith Action Network banner!
Email our regional organizer, Brianna at dilts@fanwa.org if you have any questions. All are welcome!
We also encourage you to join us at the Martin Luther King Commemorative Service at Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, 806 W Indiana Ave, on Sunday, January 18, from 3- 5 pm. This annual service is put on by the Black Minister Alliance in partnership with the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center. |
